Biosecurity Systems delivers integrated technology and services to diminish the risk of COVID-19 and other epidemic infections in the workplace. Founded in Australia by an international group of technologists, manufacturers, health experts and security experts, Biosecurity Systems analyzes, manufactures, supplies and implements global best practice in risk minimization, technologies, threat intelligence and operations. Our mission is to ensure that visitors, proprietors and staff are safe and confident.
Biosecurity Systems provides complete analysis, design, supply and management of your organization’s biosecurity facilities and services, including preventative maintenance, within a comprehensive contract. Our corporate history comes out of cybersecurity and robotics. Our sister company is Voy Robotics, a Singapore firm which specializes in the development and manufacturing of personal autonomous robots both for delivery and for disinfection utilising UV pulse or spray disinfectants. The Voy team have been leading developers of robots in East Asia since 2016.
Biosecurity Systems and Voy Robotics are part of the Argo P@cific group of companies. Argo P@cific is a technology company incubator and cybersecurity and technology advisory firm operating since 2000.
The Biosecurity Systems team includes experienced leadership, disciplined professionals and high caliber medical staff.
Rapid deployment squads - former military engineers who deliver, assemble and test our equipment at the venue site sourced through contract.
Operational screening and maintenance staff - sourced locally and responsible for daily operations in coordination with venue management, local companies and thoroughly vetted by Biosecurity Systems.
Medical staff - to support patron screening in accordance with local health protocols
ADJUST NOW TO THE NEW NORMAL
COVID-19 has severely impacted the global events industry. But it is not the first, nor will it be the last contagious disease to threaten large scale events. Nor will vaccines return the world to 2019 business conditions. Event hosts need to invest in detailed planning, partnerships and new technologies and solutions to ensure infection risk minimization and build visitor and stakeholder confidence.
Nothing will take us back to 2019. Firstly, COVID-19 is here to stay. Global vaccination will not be achieved until 2023. Varying vaccination rates and efficacies means that COVID – 19 will circulate for decades as an endemic disease like flu, measles, and HIV. Secondly, the accelerating risk of new pandemics is of real concern. Recent pathogen transmission includes HIV, Bird Flu, SARS, MERS, Ebola, Hendra and Zika, bovine tuberculosis, rabies and leptospirosis. Epidemiology teaches two stark lessons:
The globalisation of the world’s socio economy, driven in part by affordable and expanding air and marine transport, means that disease outbreaks are more likely to become epidemics and epidemics are more likely to become pandemics.
Growing human population and density is bringing more human-wildlife interaction, one result of which is additional opportunities for pathogen transmission.
Gavi, the international vaccination alliance, has nominated 10 lethal diseases for which we do not yet have vaccines each of which could be the next pandemic.
The new normal for the events industry is planning for a longer period of living with COVID-19 (even with vaccinations), future pandemic preparedness and risk minimisation. Event holders are searching for ways to safely restart operations and restore patron and worker confidence.
AND BLOOD OXYGEN SCREENING
Biosecurity Systems' melds two capabilities to identify COVID-19, MERS, SARS and other infections:
High-speed thermal-metric monitors scan a moving flow of people instantly measuring each's temperature and identifying accurately those with a fever
Very accurate, non-invasive blood oxygen testing
Integrated coordination and reporting software
BOOTHS / TUNNELS WITH HAND SANTINIZATION
All-in-one disinfection booths perform hand sanitization and atomised mist disinfection of people entering public spaces. Disinfection spray tunnels support high flow through traffic as well as luggage disinfection. Biosecurity Systems only uses skin and clothing friendly
disinfectants - environmentally friendly to sensitive or marine environments.
Disinfection robots are used as part of a regular cleaning cycle preventing and reducing the spread of infectious diseases, bacteria, viral, and other types of harmful organic microorganisms by breaking down their DNA-structure. Biosecuity Systems deploys both spray disinfectant and UV pulse autonomous robots. Hospital grade disinfection.
CONTACTLESS DELIVERY ROBOTS
Human to Human contact is the major infection vector for coronavirus. Contactless Delivery Robots are the perfect solution for reducing Human to Human contact. Our autonomous Contactless Delivery Robots operate in hospitals, resorts, hotels and airports.
Coupled with our UV pulse cabinets, these robots massively reduce the risk of infection from mail and deliveries..
