Airline trade group wants TSA to do temperature checks
Around the world airlines and airports are discussing how they will operate in a COVID-safe manner. Airlines for America is a trade group representing major US carriers such as American, Delta, Southwest, United, Alaska, JetBlue and Hawaiian.
Airlines for America included in a recent statement that “Temperature checks are one of several public health measures recommended by the CDC amid the Covid-19 pandemic and will add an extra layer of protection for passengers as well as airline and airport employees. Temperature checks also will provide additional public confidence that is critical to relaunching air travel and our nation’s economy.
