Cruise ship coronavirus outbreaks have forced the industry to make drastic changes

The cruise industry globally is currently working intensively on health protocols so it can operate safely in the absence of a COVID-19 vaccine. In this article industry body, Cruise Lines International, highlights that there are no quick fixes and all options are on the table. Australasia managing director, Joel Katz says “(that includes) the health questionnaires that passengers will be required to fill in, the screening, the testing, every aspect of the on board operation including the onboard medical capabilities all the way to when the guest gets home”.
